FPC circuit board alignment refers to connecting different circuit boards together through alignment holes or alignment pins to achieve connection between circuits. Specifically, it is to closely fit the alignment holes or alignment pins on two or more circuit boards so that the signals, power and ground in the circuit can be correctly connected.
FPC circuit board alignment methods
There are generally two ways to align FPC circuit boards:
1. Alignment hole alignment: suitable for circuit connections with different layers inside the same board. Usually a set of alignment holes is placed in the center of the PCB board, fixed together by studs or alignment pins, and then two circuit boards of different levels are aligned and fixed together.
2. Alignment pin alignment: suitable for connecting two or more circuit boards together, each of which has at least one set of alignment pins. When in use, the alignment holes and alignment pins of multiple boards are aligned and fixed together, and finally a circuit board with longer circuit connectivity is formed.
The importance of FPC circuit board alignment
Alignment is one of the key steps in circuit board production, and its purpose is to ensure that the circuit board runs accurately and without error. Correct alignment can not only ensure the correctness of the circuit board connection, but also avoid various adverse effects on the stability of the system operation caused by poor circuit boards, thus creating favorable conditions for the normal operation of the entire system.
